The Paper Fashion Show, our largest fundraiser, shines light on Colorado talent and features haute couture fashions made entirely from paper that are showcased on the grand runway and judged by an esteemed panel of top Colorado-area designers and celebrities. This all-volunteer organized and run event, helps support not only our mission to elevate Colorado art and design to the national level but also the non-profit Downtown Aurora Visual Arts, a local community organization that provides after-school arts programs for urban youth.
LARGEST SHOW IN
THE NATION
Each year, over 950 attendees and over 100 volunteers come together to view and celebrate wearable art in motion and Denver talent.
HAUTE COUTURE IN PAPER
To date, over 600 fashions have been created with high end specialty papers from our sponsors: Mohawk, Neenah Papers, CTI Papers USA, French Paper and more.
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
The One Club For Creativity Denver has raised over $66,000 for Downtown Aurora Visual Arts who provides free after-school arts and job training courses for urban youth.

Downtown Aurora Visual Arts
Since the Paper Fashion Show’s™ inception The One Club for Creativity – Denver has donated over $66,000 to DAVA.
From the beginning, The Paper Fashion Show has been a part of DAVA’s curriculum. Students ages 7 to 17 research ideas, learn to draw figures, think about design, colors and patterns to create their fashions. These students learn to problem solve and to work on a team while gaining leadership skills and real world experience by participating in a professional event. At the show, DAVA students work alongside professional designers and creators, see their fashions walk the runway and even participate as judges.
“Through the Paper Fashion Show™, students have been able to show leadership and participate in a professional event as team leaders, interns, judges and models,” says Viviane Le Courtois, Program Manager at DAVA. “Students are excited about the project every year, it adds something to our program that is unique.”
Combining art and technology, DAVA programs emphasize innovation, problem-solving, and connection to community. While arts education can connect to careers in the arts, at DAVA they do much more. Their unique approach results in students not only gaining skills in art, but also valuable education, job, and social skills in preparation for a wide range of life aspirations.
